ARMED FORCES SHTS BRASS BAND RELEASES MAIDEN ALBUM

The Armed Forces Senior High Technical School Brass Band has released its first album titled “Love Divine”. This album has been possible through the collaborative support of the headmaster of the school, Col. A Amadu Mahama, the school administration, the entire staff(both teaching and non-teaching) and the student body as a whole.

The primary need for the album is to raise funds for a new set of Brass Band Instruments as the one acquired earlier are out of use now and needs replacement.

The album is dedicated to Mrs. Alice Bosompem (immediate past Headmistress-Domestic) for her immense support to the school and the music department in particular.It is also to show appreciation to the entire staff and student body.

The album can boast of as many as Twenty-seven Tracks which are made up of nine Agbaza tracks, twelve Hiplife tracks and six Gosple praise tracks. All the instrumentals on the album were performed by the students with the guidance and supervision of their music tutors, Mr. Oppong Michael and Mr. Frimpong Stephen and was recorded and mixed by Amoff Soundz. AFOSA-1997 YEAR GROUP MAKES DONATION TO SCHOOL

The Armed Forces Old Students Association(AFOSA)-1997 year group made a generous donation  to the school on Friday, 10th November, 2017. The donation which happened on the School premises was witnessed by a section of the Old Students Association, the administration and a section of the student body.

The donation which was made up of a mower, 20 sets of executive conference chairs and waste bins were received by the Headmaster Col. Abukari-Amadu Mahama on behalf of the school.

The Headmaster in his acceptance speech thanked the Old Students for their generosity and urged other year groups to look back at their alma mater and help in each significant way they can.
